    Practical battle tips

    Battle Tips

    When to avoid

Avoid using fragile Fire or Grass attackers that will faint quickly to Camerupt’s strong Fire- and Ground-type moves. Also be cautious with Ice attackers if Camerupt carries Rock coverage.

    Team size & strategy

2-3 high level trainers with top counters.4-5 casual trainers are required. Start with a weather-boosted Water attacker and preserve shields for your top DPS. If facing Eruption-style moves, rotate into a bulky Water or Rock Pokemon to absorb the hit and counter. Coordinate with your team to avoid overkilling and wasting resources.
